b19 Consulting is seeking an experienced Director of Structural to lead our structural engineering team. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of a wide range of structures, including buildings, bridges, and more. The ideal candidate will ensure all structural elements meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Ideal skillset of the Director of Structural Engineering:
- Developing and managing budgets for structural projects.
- Developing and implementing design standards and guidelines for structural projects.
- Managing and supervising a team of engineers, and contractors.
- Overseeing the construction process and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure quality control.
- Communicating with clients, stakeholders, and other departments to ensure that project requirements are met.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with external partners and vendors.
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, or a related field from an ABET accredited institution required
- 10+ years of Structural Management experience within the AEC industry
- P.E. License, required
- S.E. License, required
