A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong technical background and leadership capabilities to oversee complex infrastructure and utility projects.

 

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to technical and project management challenges.
  • Proficiency in engineering and design, proposal development, cost estimating, project scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to foster collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, Primavera, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, MS Project).
  • Familiarity with corporate accounting principles and business operations.
  • Commitment to promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture.

 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (highly preferred).
  • Minimum of 15 years of diversified engineering and project management experience.
  • At least 8 years in a leadership or supervisory role overseeing planning, design, and construction activities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate under the direction of senior leadership to align program execution with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Support business unit operations through goal setting, resource planning, proposal oversight, and performance monitoring.
  • Lead client development efforts and contribute to long-term business growth strategies.
  • Provide oversight of Project Managers and technical teams to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
  • Manage staffing needs, recruitment efforts, and professional development to support program objectives.
  • Monitor project financials and performance, ensuring adherence to budget and profitability targets.
  • Implement and maintain internal systems for planning, quality control, and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to ensure accountability and financial health.
  • Represent the firm in client negotiations, industry meetings, and contract discussions.
  • Foster a high-performing organizational structure with clear roles, responsibilities, and succession planning.
  • Support recruitment, mentorship, and development of project teams and technical staff.
