b19 Consulting is looking for a Lead Interconnection Engineer to join an organization committed to the future of renewable energy. The successful interconnection engineer will have a solid technical background in PV system design and interconnection.
Preferred Experience of the Successful Interconnection Engineer:
- 5+ years of experience in a utility, solar development, or consultancy environment, focusing on interconnection-related activities and issues.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards such as the National Electric Code, International Building Code, and other relevant codes.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with industry tools like MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Salesforce, Teams, Power BI, and SharePoint.
- A valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel as needed.
- A Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work both independently and as part of a team.
