B19 Consulting is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to joining a global consultancy. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be client facing and make site visits in state.
Ideal Skillset of the successful Senior Transmission Line Engineer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in electric utility transmission system design.
- Proven expertise in reviewing full transmission line designs, including PLS-CADD models, foundations, material plans, and construction documents.
- Strong knowledge of NESC, ACI, AISC, and ASCE code requirements, as well as construction specifications, material procurement processes, and project schedules.
- Demonstrated ability to develop project scopes, budgets, and proposals.
- Ability to thrive in both independent and team environments.
- Strong leadership and mentoring experience, particularly in supervising others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- EIT, FE, or Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- Experience with PLS-CADD, POLE, LPILE, or FAD Tools, PLS TOWER, Bentley MicroStation, Bentley ProjectWise, Mathcad, Autodesk AutoCAD.
- Background in construction management and support.
